How to Navigate Change Powerfully

by Michelle Wilding // March 24 // 0 Comments

If there’s one thing that’s consistent on this planet, it’s change...

And yet, change is one of the things humans love to resist the most.

Why?

Well, because it’s uncomfortable.
We don’t know what it’s going to look like in the end. And, well, did we mention it often feels uncomfortable?

Even if we resist it, change is happening. And we can take it as an opportunity to hone our skills and develop into the best version of ourselves possible...
Or, we can allow it to take us out sideways.

And as much as some people don’t love to hear this, the reality is, it’s a choice.

So what is it that allows for a person to come out on the other side of change, thriving?

Based on research and from what we have personally experienced in our own lives, there are three basic practices that can be attributed to setting the tone for success during change.

These are the three daily practices at the core routine of what we, as a Sophrenic Collective Team incorporate into our day to day lives.

They are a practice. Which means, you don’t have to be perfect at them for it to be effective. And every time you practice, you experience a bit more perfection in the process.

So, without further ado:

Practice #1:   Gratitude

Yep. You heard us right. Gratitude. It doesn't matter what is going on, there is always something that you can express gratitude for. And as you do, you will begin to train your eyes and your mind to spot it.

The more and more you LIVE in a RESONANCE of gratitude, the more and more things you will actually attract to you that naturally feel good.

Everyday, we write down 3 things we are grateful for. But here's the catch (and part of why it's so effective). We find things within the last 24 hours that we can express gratitude for.

Why do we do this?

Because we are building proof in REAL TIME, that life is good. We're feeding our minds, our hearts and our soul with tangible, real life goodness on the spot.

Practice #2: Stillness

Everyday, take a moment to be still. And not just physically. We mean, find/create stillness in the mind, the soul and the body. This is a moment to "pattern interrupt" the endless mind chatter that has you worrying about the future or stewing in the past.

A Stillness practice is designed to get you into the NOW, which is the most POWERFUL place you can be.

Why?

Because it's in the "Now" where inspiration can come in. And when you're navigating change, the most success-invoking place to do that from is a place of inspiration. Versus stress, anxiety and scarcity.

A Stillness practice is the gateway to inspiration.

Practice #3: Movement

Why movement? Well, we have a good explanation for that. Take a look at nature. Specifically, water. What do you notice happening when water sits stagnant?

Basically, in a nutshell, it turns gross.

And, we humans are kinda like that too. We will start to feel gross when we sit stagnant too long... Stagnant in moving our bodies. Stagnant in moving our emotions. Stagnant in moving our energy. Stagnant in our creations.

You wanna feel better and start the flow of motivation and momentum?

MOVE. YOUR. SELF!

And that can look a lot of ways... dancing, walking, intentional breathing, crying, laughing... whatever it is, move your body. move your emotions.

Added bonus. When you incorporate more movement into your life, a natural byproduct of that is tapping into flow. Living life from a state of flow, brings more health, more healing, more happiness, and more abundance.

Michelle stepped onto her inner personal journey over 15 years ago. Having struggled with her own issues with body image and self worth, it fueled her to finding a solution to solve it.

She has worked as a personal trainer for 5 years helping women to transform their physical bodies to become strong, fit and healthy. After noticing the struggle some women had in maintaining or even achieving their desired results she realized their physical problems had almost nothing to do with what they ate or how much they worked out. They where a direct result of the thoughts, feelings and beliefs they had about themselves.

She attended Brigham Young University where she studied Psychology to understand the inner workings of the mind and human behavior. Her path has also led her to purse other modalities and avenues that not only assisted her own healing, but has benefitted the hundreds of women she's assisted on their own healing journey.

She is a certified Hypnotherapist and is also a trained Rapid Transforamtional Therapist. And somewhere along the way she became a cosmetologist and specializes in giving "Soul Cuts".

As one of the Co-founders of the The Sophrenic Collective, she absolutely loves guiding women to see the powerful, beautiful, authentic being they truly are, while assisting them to start living and creating a life they truly love.

She is a mother to the cutest little Maltese puppy Sadie, loves fabulous shoes, traveling, Road and Mountain biking, eating great food and is passionate about helping women succeed.
